Saints Row: The Third Remastered Getting Xbox Series X|S And PS5 Upgrades

Saints Row: The Third Remastered will be coming to Xbox Series X | S and PlayStation 5 on May 25. The new next-generation version will be free to all current owners of the game and will equal the ultra settings on PC.

Some of the Improvements coming to the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 version include a framerate boost to 60 FPS and dynamic 4K resolution, with Xbox Series X players being able to choose between Performance mode that will run 60 FPS at 1080p or beauty which runs 30FPS at 4K. The new version will get faster load times thanks to the SSD. Lastly, the most important update is the PS5 DualSense controller will glow in the signature Saints Purple.

Look Saints Row: The Third Remastered is great and all but I've personally played this game to completion around three times, hopefully, we'll get that Saints Row 5 announcement soon as I'm starting to lose hope.

E3 2021 Announced To Begin On June 12

e3 2021

The ESA has officially announced its plans for a virtual E3 this year, confirming that the event will take place between June 12 and June 15 of this year.

Revealed In a press release, the ESA confirmed that multiple publishers will show up show which includes Xbox, Nintendo, Capcom, Ubisoft, Konami, Take-Two Interactive, Warner Bros. Games, Koch Media. They also went on to say that there will be "more to come" who will be "showcasing their latest news and games directly to fans" with the group promising the event's content will be available for free. Lastly, they confirmed that more details such as how viewers will be able to watch the event at a late date.

There are a few notable publishers that seemingly won't be participating in this year's E3 that include Sony, EA, Sega, and Square Enix. Sony hasn't held a show at E3 since 2018 so that isn't too surprising and a similar situation follows with EA focusing on their EA Play event. I am hopeful that SEGA or Square Enix could show up in some fashion at one of the main conferences for Xbox or Nintendo.

Either way, I'm super excited to see E3 return after the garbage fire that was the 2020 gaming announcement shows. Hopefully, this means it won't be spread out over the course of multiple months and is more condensed. I can't go another year of watching 12 different showcases over the course of three months.

Watch Dogs: Legion's Online Modes Release Date Announced

Watch Dogs Legion Online Mode

Ubisoft has announced that Watch Dogs: Legion will be getting its online multiplayer update on March 9.

The online mode will include both co-op and competitive ways to play, which include difficult Tactical Ops missions for up to four players, the Invasion mode, and a Spiderbot Arena PvP mode.

I'm personally pretty excited to check out this new way to play Watch Dogs Legion and plan to discuss it further on my podcast when the patch drops.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout's Next crossover is with Bethesda's Doom

Fall Guys Crossover With Doom

Devolver Digital and Mediatonic have announced that Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is crossing over with Bethesda DOOM.

From January 12 a collection of Doom-themed costumes will be available in the in-game store, including Doomguy, a Cacodemon, and a Cyberdemon. This is the latest in a line of crossovers with other gaming properties since the game launched, including such games as Untitled Goose Game and Sonic the Hedgehog.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is currently in the middle of its third season on PlayStation 4 and PC.

Persona Soundtrack Comes To Spotify

Persona 5 Royal

Atlus has announced that most of the original soundtracks for the Persona games will be dropping onto Spotify.

Here's a list of the following Atlus soundtracks available on Spotify now:

Persona 5 OST

P4 & P4 Golden OST

P3 & FES OST

P2 Sound Collections

P4 Dancing All Night OST

P4 Arena Ultimax OST

Never More - Reincarnation: Persona 4

P3 & P4 Vocal Sound Collection

PQ & PQ2 OST

As a massive nerd for Persona, I'm super stoked to see the soundtrack become easily accessible to listen to. Previously you could only get hold of the soundtrack for the games by purchasing the collector’s edition of the games or via uploads on YouTube.

Here are some of my favorite tracks from all the games I've played:

Mass Destruction (Persona 3 FES)

The Snow Queen (Persona 3 FES)

Pursuing My True Self (Persona 4 Golden)

Time To Make History (Persona 4 Golden)

Wake Up, Get Up, Get Out There (Persona 5)

Phantom (Persona 5)

Life Will Chhange (Persona 5)

I could have listed at least another ten songs, I don't know how Atlus does it but the songs gain so much meaning over the course of each game. If you can't tell, this is just a huge ploy to encourage you to go play Persona 5 Royal. Which you should because it's one of, if not the best game that released in 2020.

Hitman 3 New Feature Revealed

Hitman 3 screenshot

IO Interactive has revealed an upcoming feature for Hitman 3. Players will be able to unlock "persistent shortcuts" in levels, which will open up new paths on previously played levels.

Originally revealed by Game Informer, the new shortcuts are said to "encourage exploration, reward curiosity, and incentivize replayability" with players being able to open up new routes by interacting with doors, certain areas, and access points in each level. Agent 47 will then be able to use them during future playthroughs to get to areas of the map faster or to head off a target before they reach a specific destination.

I'm personally looking forward to checking this out for myself when Hitman 3 launches on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC on January 20, 2021.

The Year Of Creation

What's up folks and welcome to another blog post. I struggled for so awhile trying to figure out the introduction to this post so I thought I'd just rehash my podcast intro for it.

I have always been able to focus on something and hammer away at it continuously but 2020 kinda took that from me and stomped on it hard. I managed to somehow keep posting daily on Instagram and exercising but everything else went to the wayside.

Content creation is something I’ve always been drawn too and I plan to go bananas in 2021. The Podcast is moving homes from SoundCloud to HelloGhostly.com. This means sadly that either i lose all the current episodes I've created or import them all over, which takes a ton of time. Hopefully, I'll then be able to bring the podcast to more platforms such as Spotify or Amazon Music.

Gaming News is coming back to the website on a weekly basis covering the best news for consoles such as Xbox Series X, PS5, and Nintendo Switch. However, it's gonna be a little bit different as I'll only be covering the news that interests me, and I might inject some opinion along the way.

Lastly, I plan to do another regular feature on the website focusing on content creators in general, I'll be revealing more on that in the near future.

2021 has given me perspective on what's important, My family is always gonna be my first priority but creating is a close second. I plan to create a ton of awesome content over the course of the next year and i can't wait to get started.

The Division 2 Private Beta, Kingdom Hearts 3 Epilogue - Hello Ghostly Games Podcast 18.01.19

After last week darker tone, I felt at times for a more happy episode, so I drank two coffees before the episode. That will make it happy, won't it? no okay. But seriously we talk more video games this week and get into the release dates for the division 2 private beta, kingdom hearts 3 epilogues coming after the game launches and much more.

Overwatch's Solider 76 Joins Tracer as an LGBTQ hero - Hello Ghostly Games Podcast 11.01.19

What's Up everyone, I wanted to start by adding a somewhat disclaimer to this episode. The following episode gets into a mature discussion in regards to depression, anxiety, and death. I talk about the recent loss of my father in law and how that's affected me over the past year and also my previous attempts of suicide.

It was rough for me to listen back to but I hope this episode helps you if you're going through similar feeling or issues. Life always gets better and there is always someone who cares, even if it feels like there isn't.

Gears 5 Coming In 2019

Gears 5 Coming In 2019

Gears 5, yeah it's not Gears Of War 5 go figure. Anyway, the game was announced over the course of Microsoft E3 conference with a brief tidbit of the story shown in a new trailer. There was also a brief bit of gameplay that included what looks like be Locust but I've yet to finish Gears Of War 4 so I might be wrong.
